Ever seen WISCONSIN from the top of the shortest, steepest railroad IN THE WORLD?! 🚊 It's just across the Mississippi in Dubuque!

The Fenelon Place Elevator (also known as the Fourth Street Elevator) is 296 feet long and angles up at 41 degrees for a vertical elevation of 189 feet.

At the top — there are TWO observation decks, which offer unobstructed views of Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa!

When the elevator first opened in 1884, rides cost 5 cents. Nowadays, they’re $2 each way. The elevator runs daily from April 1 through November 30.

Who else is ready for real dose of spring? A trip to Discover Oshkosh and the Paine Art Center and Gardens might just do the trick! 🌷Their spring tulips showcase runs May 1-18.

Spring awakens in the Paine gardens with the annual Tulips Showcase! This May, enjoy a stroll among thousands of tulips throughout four acres of gardens. At least 10,000 tulips are displayed in the Formal Garden, while many more tulips color the mansion façade and various outdoor “galleries” with budding trees and the sounds of spring’s renewal all around.

Peak bloom is anticipated during the first two weeks of May.

Of course, a stop at Lambeau Field and a stadium tour are always a highlight, followed by a visit to the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame. There is so much more to discover in Green Bay so you’ll want to plan for a few days ‼️

Discover Cranberries & Cafe is a delightful stop near the Mississippi River Valley area of our state. Located just outside of the Tomah area, this stop houses a museum, gift store and cafe. They do arrange tours of a local cranberry marsh as well so it’s a full day of learning about all things cranberry. The friendly staff at the Tomah Chamber & Visitors Center would he happy to help with your tour day as well. Happy travels ‼️
