👑 Alumni Alert! Hail to our Cornish Queen, Sandy Weitzel! Sandy has been named a highly prestigious Cornish Bard "for services to Cornish Identity in the USA." A proud school employee for decades, Sandy was fundamental in getting our student exchange program thriving with Redruth School.

Sandy will be the only bard from the entire USA to be inducted this year!

New bards will be welcomed into the College of Bards of Gorsedh Kernow at Callington by the Grand Bard of Cornwall, Pol Hodge, Mab Stenak Veur, in recognition of their outstanding work in serving Cornwall on September 7.

It was hard to leave Cornwall today and the new friends we've made. Thank you for your kind hospitality and for showing us the beauty you have in Cornwall. Thanks to Jules for organizing, driving, and hosting!! Thanks to the families who took us into their homes. Thanks to Ian for driving and serving as a tour guide! We stopped off on our way to London to see Stonehenge and Windsor Castle then made our way into London for a fun night exploring and dinner at Hard Rock Cafe.

Today our students and their host families took the train to St Ives to see the harbor, shops and great food.

Spent the morning today at Charlestown at the harbor and this afternoon at Eden Project which was once an open China clay pit mine, but now is home to two large dome biomes, one a tropical rain forest and the other a Mediterranean environment. It was an incredible place filled with amazing plant species.
