Nearly one hundred musicians will appear at Lake Anna Jazz Fest 2025 this weekend, with talent ranging from outstanding local performers to world touring, multiple-Grammy award winning celebrities. The annual event occurs on the outdoor stages of Cooling Pond Brewery & Winery in Mineral from noon to 6 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. It’s sponsored by Lake Anna Jazz, a Louisa-based nonprofit corporation that seeks to encourage the appreciation and performance of Jazz, one of America’s original art forms.
The show features many musical styles and band configurations, with performances alternating between two stages and each set lasting less than an hour each. According to Robert McBride, President of Lake Anna Jazz, this approach keeps the audience engaged with an entertaining variety show of talents.
“The range of styles is so great, that we informally call it “Lake Anna Not-Just-Jazz Fest.” McBride said.
This year’s theme is “A Celebration of Vocal Jazz,” with several outstanding singers headlining the event.
