Big news! The new lodge at the North Creek Ski Bowl, The Station, along with the new Timber & Thyme restaurant, will be opening soon!

is planning to open Friday, January 16th!

The Station will have a soft opening this coming weekend, January 10th and 11th. The lodge will be open for booting up, ticket sales, and retail, but there will be no food service this weekend.

We have last minute, discounted availability this week, Jan 11-16th, with a 2 night minimum only so come check out the new lodge!

This is such a sweet story: This family came to the Adirondacks to celebrate Christmas for the first time since losing their father three years ago. Returning wasn’t easy, but they were hoping for a quiet place to be together and begin creating new memories.

With 15 people under one roof—all of them in matching Christmas pajamas 😆—there was plenty of space to gather, relax, and enjoy being together.

After arriving, Debbie shared something that really struck a chord with us. Her father’s signature greeting to everyone—family, friends, strangers—was always “howdy.” Seeing the Howdy sign in our family room felt, to them, like a small but meaningful sign that he was there with them. 💕

We’re grateful our home could offer comfort during a season that holds both joy and loss. Thank you for trusting us with something so personal!

We’ve had the Caughdenoy Volunteer Fire Department Inc. leadership team stay one weekend in November with us for the past two years, and they’ve become one of our favorite groups to host. They turn the cabin into the perfect retreat space—presentations on the TV, big discussions around the kitchen table, and plenty of team building mixed in with the treehouse, the kitchen, and the trails nearby.

There’s plenty of space for everyone to settle in, and they always take such great care of the place. We’ve really enjoyed having them here each year and hope their annual retreat at the cabin keeps going strong. 💛🏡

For an incredible 46 years, this wonderful family has gathered in the Adirondacks for their annual fall weekend — and this year, we were truly honored they chose to make our cabin part of their cherished tradition. 🍂

Their days were filled with everything we love most about Adirondack life: mornings of laughter in the treehouse, afternoon hikes to breathtaking summits (how sweet is that photo of the girls at the top! 🏔️), and quiet moments back at the cabin where some relaxed on the porches, soaking in the beauty of the season.

One of our favorite touches? The girls’ handmade pumpkins — creatively decorated with natural treasures they found around the property. 🎃😍

Thank you to this sweet family for sharing your tradition with us and allowing our cabin to play a small part in your story. Here’s to many more years of adventure, connection, and Adirondack magic. ❤️

Since 2018, this crew of friends and family has kept their tradition of reuniting every year—and this time, they chose our cabin for their getaway. They told us they had such a great time that they’re already planning to return next year. I’m always impressed by groups like this who make the effort to keep their traditions alive, year after year, without letting life’s busy-ness get in the way. We’re so thankful for our guests who choose to come back again and again. 💛 Tag a friend you need to plan a reunion with!
