If you’re trying to visit national parks, this is for you! |

We’re on a mission to visit every national park, and after 43 parks, we’ve learned that having a great home base can make all the difference.

I grew up staying at KOA, and now I get to experience them with my own family as we travel across the Midwest and continue our national park journey.

Some of my favorite memories have happened at KOA campgrounds – from my mom finally getting my brother to stop screaming when he was a baby because we learned he liked the white noise of the A/C, to my husband and me taking our first national park road trip, to finding out we were pregnant with our first daughter at a KOA outside of Saguaro National Park.

With 500+ locations across North America, KOA has a spot for every kind of traveler, whether you’re camping in a tent, bringing your RV, or looking for a cabin.

Because sometimes the best part of the trip is the stay!

📍 located in Pepin, WI less than an hour and a half from the Twin Cities.
💤 This is the midwests most perfect couples getaway
🛁 with a raised hot tub so you can soak nestled in the tree
🔥 cozy up by the fireplace inside or outside at the private fire pit with wood provided (an amazing
amenity)
🍳 cook meals in the kitchen or drive along Great River road for unique eateries for a variety of local
eats + drinks
🐶 while they love their pets (they have three dogs) the treehouse is not pet friendly.

Fall cabin getaways are next level. Especially when they’re in the heart of Minnesota’s north shore.

The custom built Ski Hill Cabins and Saunas is the stuff vacation dreams are made of. These 1,400 sq ft Scandinavian inspired cabins are tucked in the trees with huge windows bringing the outside in.

Four cabins total, each sleeping 8-10 of your friends and family, the cabins are designed with space to socialize, unwind and dine, rejuvenate in the private sauna, or relax at the campfire.

These cabins are by far my most booked recommendation for fall near Lutsen. Close to the iconic gondola to see the maples, close drive to Grand Marais and cozy private saunas attached to the cabins.
