At Knowmad, we're always looking for ways to make every journey extra special. For Sammi and Ed, that meant a surprise picnic in the stunning landscapes of Paracas:

We all want to thank you so very much for the amazing experience of the dune buggy ride, buggy boarding and beautiful dinner in the gorgeous dune setting. We all so appreciated your kind gesture!! It was such a memorable experience!!

So, you finally made it to IguazĂş!

The sound of the falls, the mist on your skin, and nature putting on a show you’ll never forget.

Best visited year-round, but especially stunning from March-May and August-October when the weather is pleasant and the trails are comfortable to explore.

Antarctica 21's newest member of its polar fleet performed her first navigation on Valdivia’s Calle Calle river, passing under the iconic Cau Cau bridge. The Magellan Discoverer is due to make her debut in this 26/27 season.

Brazil has a way of surprising even the most seasoned travelers.

From the Amazon and Rio to Paraty and SĂŁo Paulo, Brazil continues to captivate us with its diversity, natural beauty, and hidden corners that few travelers ever get to experience.

The best part? There’s never really a bad time to visit—different regions shine throughout the year, making Brazil an incredible destination in every season.

Here are a few moments from our recent travels.

Would you add Brazil to your South America wish list? 🇧🇷

Patagonia isn't the kind of place you forget.
The silence, the spaces and a sense of feeling truly reomte.
The world slowed down as you linger to soak up every moment.
You don't just visit Patagonia - you live and breathe it.
And it tends to stay with you.

What stayed with you most?

"We had an amazing trip. I felt our itinerary was a perfect overview for our first trip to Argentina and Chile. I enjoyed all the places we visited, but thoroughly enjoyed Patagonia and would love to return one day. Our time in Patagonia was bookended by our biggest hikes - Laguna de Los Tres and Mirador Las Torres. Unfortunately we weren’t able to do the final kilometer of Laguna de Los Tres due to rain, but the picture perfect weather and breathtaking views from the final kilometer climb of Mirador Las Torres was the exclamation point of our time in Patagonia."

Knowmad travelers Kathy and Nathan Schwerdfeger loved their trip during the Fall shoulder season.

Calling all trail runners!

Dreaming of running in Patagonia? Shoulder season is the sweet spot: fewer crowds, centuries-old forests, cool running temps, and trails that feel entirely yours. In Chile, The Patagonia Camp Cup is your chance to experience Torres del Paine beyond the peak-season rush.

On May 2, Patagonia Camp Cup celebrated its 9th edition, with competitors participating in 5 km, 15 km, 21 km, and 42 km.

Would you rather run surrounded by autumn colors or spring blossoms?

3 ways to experience Torres del Paine:

Patagonia Camp — Luxury yurts immersed in nature, just steps from the wild beauty of Torres del Paine.

Cerro Guido — A secluded estancia where Patagonian wilderness, gaucho culture, and mountain views come together.
