Hey Word Sprout friends! If you are thinking about donating to Give to the Max Day this year we encourage you to think about Strike Theater! Allison Broeren runs this org and Strike! Think about supporting more spoken word!

This year at Strike Theater we are hoping to raise $2000 in monthly donations. To be clear, we are happy and grateful for any and all donations including one time contributions. However, it's hard to overstate the power of a monthly donation. Monthly recurring donations make the life of any nonprofit a little easier to manage. Running a theater is a weird and fun journey that is loaded with uncertainties and "what ifs"…and ladders. So many ladders...Mike has fallen off of so many ladders...and has been electrocuted twice.

ANYWAY...A set monthly donation stream goes a long way toward helping to make some of those uncertainties and "what ifs" a little clearer. There is nothing to be done about the ladder sitch… Have $20 a month to spare? Amazing! Only have $5? ALSO AMAZING. Got $100 a month? WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW. Only have a $1? THANK YOU FOR THINKING OF US AND WE GLADLY ACCEPT.

Your financial help will allow us to do some amazing things, including:
• Cover basic operational costs allowing us to pay out a greater percentage to artists and techs and front of house staff.
• Marketing Costs. It would be nice if people saw our shows.

We are so excited for what 2020 is going to bring and would be incredibly grateful for any help you can offer.

Want to make a monthly donation to help sustain Strike Theater? Friend, that would be super to the duper. More interested in a one time donation? Also super to the duper.

Love, Mike and Allison!

Strike Theater was founded by Director of Word Sprout and SlamMaster of Poetry and SlamMN! Allison Broeren, and longtime Improv Artists, Educators, and Brave New Workshop Alumni Mike Fotis and Joe Bozic. Strike exists in partnership with SEIU Local 26 Janitor/Window Washer/Security Union. For real. It's awesome. Trust us. Together we Strike.
