My life the last 5 months as a normal girl from Minnesota with a not so normal life!

I spent the first 2 months after my breakup in January sad at my mom’s, so I had some making up to do these last 5 months😂

After my 3 month solo trip I spent some time over the summer reconnecting with family, but now I’m getting ready for another 3 month adventure! Follow along to see what I get up to next 🥰

There’s been loss, breakups, success, love, and everything in between along the way ❤️ my path hasn’t been straight, but this is my story 🫶🏻

Life doesn’t have to be perfect to be great. Sometimes, you just have to make it work with what you’ve got:)

Do you worry about safety when you’re traveling to a new country?

Here’s how I stay safe as a solo female traveler 🫶🏻⬇️

1) have a plan for when you land!! Know where you need to go ahead of time & how you’re going to get there

2) load directions onto your phone too, so you know you’re going where you want to be going

3) have a translator ready

4) share your location with people you trust

5) the most important: have a reliable eSIM! You can’t do any of these things if you don’t have service. I’m using Nomad eSIM | Your Travel Bestie because they’re reliable, easy to use, and affordable:)

Download the Nomad app and use my discount code “LEXIXN” to be prepared on your next trip 🥰

I like to call this ✨range✨ hahaha

Yes, breakups are an ending. But they’re also a beginning ❤️

I get soooo many DMs every day asking how I moved on after a tough, long term breakup. Honestly, I think what helped me the most was time, meeting new people, and new experiences. Traveling has a way of opening your mind and shifting your perspective, which can be so healing.

It’s also important to remember that this is social media:) some people have compared their timeline to mine & I think it’s important to remember 1) everyone is different 2) you don’t have all of the information, sometimes things happen that make it a lot easier to move on 3) I didn’t share the breakup with you guys until 3 months after it actually happened.

It’s now been over 7 months & I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. After the breakup, I poured all of my extra time into traveling, my business, and connecting / reconnecting with friends and family.

My business has never been better, I feel so close with so many people in my life, and I’m seeing and experiencing new things. I’m doing things I never would have dreamed that I could do.

Breakups can feel like the end of the world. But on the other side, sometimes there’s a version on you that you haven’t met yet. A version that is stronger and more capable than you could have ever imagined 🫶🏻

Hang in there!! It gets better & you’ll be happy again ❤️
