Sand and Surf Beach Memories

This elegant lady called me and wanted a portfolio of her with her Harp…on the beach. She is a professional harpist and plays with the symphony orchestra in one of our biggest cities. So we attacked the beach just before sunset and started clicking. This was a first for both of us, but in spite of the beach flies almost eating us up we managed to get through it, and happy with the results. A fun family from Kentucky, with some GORGEOUS kids, and a beach proposal! The weather did not do us any favors today...just an old dark and dreary day...but made up for it with so many beautiful kids, lots of fun and laughs! Thank you Jennifer and gang for allowing me to become a part of your family for a day!

My beach shoots have become a marvel for me! This young man called me from Tennessee last week to ask if I would shoot his proposal to his girlfriend on the beach for him. Now one of the neat aspects of this is that it was to be a secret…she was not supposed to know I was doing it. We set it up so that I would follow them at a distance with my ZOOM lens, and sorta act upon his hand signals. And when Whitney found out what that spy with the camera was doing it turned into such a moving experience for all three of us! She was needless to say “blown away”!!

To me, it turned out so well that I will never forget it, and I will never forget Rob and Whitney. Thank you for choosing me to become a part of your life Rob! We all wish you and Whitney the best of everything life has to offer in your marriage!
