✈️💡 Travel Tip Tuesday: Did you know you don’t have to pay those sky-high airport prices for snacks and drinks? 👀
✅ Food through security?
Yes, you can! A lot of travelers think you can’t bring food in your carry-on, but that’s actually a misconception. TSA is fine with solid snacks—so pack trail mix, granola bars, sandwiches, chips, or even a slice of pizza if that’s your vibe. The only catch is no liquidy foods (soups, yogurt, dips, etc.). Otherwise, your snack stash is totally allowed.
✅ Water without the $9 price tag.
You can’t bring a full bottle of water through security, but you can bring an empty reusable water bottle. Once you’re past the checkpoint, fill it up at a fountain or refill station. Not only do you save money, but you’ll stay hydrated without feeling like you just financed a small loan for a single bottle of Dasani. 💸💦
Because let’s be honest… that $9 airport water bottle somehow feels like the biggest splurge of the whole trip.
Save your cash for sushi in Tokyo, pastel de nata in Lisbon, and croissants in Paris—not overpriced peanuts at Gate C12. 😉
