The members of the GMCC had an amazing tour of Lone Star Citrus Growers on Friday! They walked us through their packing facility, shared the history of the company, and showed the whole grove-to-table process. We even learned the right way to cut a grapefruit 🍊 and went home with a bag to enjoy. Such a cool experience!

A big thank you to Lone Star Citrus Growers for the warm welcome and amazing tour!

May God keep on blessing our little Downtown Cafe. Today we have free coffee, and free tea with your meals. Only for dining. No takeout, so come join us. We are open 8 am to 3 pm every day.

Upper Valley Art League's July exhibition entitled "Food For Thought" will showcase food-related imagery and ideas created through the imaginations and talent of our member artists. Opening reception is Saturday, July 5th from 7-9pm in the UVAL gallery. The exhibition will be on display thru July 26th. This event is FREE to attend and open to the public. We are located next to Speer Memorial Library.
