Last summer Road Trip Iowa recorded me at our farm. The episode with my interview about planting and caring for lavender will air Wednesday, April 23 at 6:30 pm and Saturday, April 26 at 9 am. I believe it’s Channel 11. They told me it turned out amazing so hoping that is true!

It’s almost time to prune your lavender; however, if you pruned last fall, no need to do anything more.

I’m waiting to make sure we’ve had our last freeze and then we’ll trim our English lavender down to about 3”. Lavender is very late to come out of dormancy so after pruning, it’s time to be patient.

A reminder that we’ll be at the Sioux Empire Arts & Craft show Friday and Saturday in Sioux Falls. The show is located at the Expo Building at the fairgrounds. Stock up on our lavender products to add some relaxation in your life!

It’s almost Thanksgiving which is the time we’re especially thankful for the many visitors who come to the farm and customers who place orders on our web site.

We are officially closed for the 2024 season. Thank you again to everyone that supported the Farm by visiting us, attending a craft class, ordering products on line, and attending a tea party.

Remember, we have an on line store and mail our lavender bath & body products out all year.

I can't believe we're just FOUR WEEKS AWAY from my most favorite show ever! Ok I'm a little biased:) But doesn't it sound fun to put on your fav flannel, grab the girl friends, and go shopping for a day? Especially with live music vibes. Plus you can grab your bloody mary while you shop, then stop at the food trucks for a lunch break! I mean, really...is there anything better??? Who's coming with me????
