If you've ever wondered whether Walt Disney World or Disneyland is the better choice, let's talk about it.

Both have that unmistakable Disney magic, but the experience of visiting each destination can be surprisingly different.

At Walt Disney World in Florida, you're planning for four theme parks, resort hotels, transportation, and all the experiences spread throughout a much larger vacation destination. I love that you can build an entire getaway around your resort and the parks.

Disneyland in California has a different feel. Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure are right across from each other, making it easy to move between the two.

And if you're traveling with little ones, here's a practical difference worth considering: at Walt Disney World, strollers must be folded before boarding buses. At Disneyland, the walkable layout means you can avoid that extra step when moving between the parks and nearby areas.

When you're carrying bags, managing a stroller, and navigating a long day with tired kids, those little details can make a difference!

Neither destination is automatically better. It comes down to your family, your available time, and the kind of vacation you want to have.

Last weekend was one of those weekends that reminded me how much I love what I do.

I spent three days at the ELC learning alongside some of the advisors on my team. We talked, learned, shared ideas, laughed, and, most importantly, invested in becoming better at what we do.

No matter what profession you choose, continuing to learn is part of growing. When I worked in Respiratory Therapy, continuing education was a requirement. We were expected to keep learning, stay current, and continue developing our skills.

I’ve carried that mindset with me into my career as a travel advisor.

One of the things I’m especially thankful for is being part of a travel agency that values education and encourages its advisors to keep growing. Travel is constantly changing, and there is always something new to learn, new destinations, new resorts, new cruise ships, new experiences, and new ways to better serve our guests.

But this weekend reminded me that growth isn't just about the information we take in. It’s also about the people we get to learn alongside.

I’m incredibly thankful for this company, for the team members who took the time to join me, and for the opportunity to continue growing in a career I genuinely love.

And most of all, I’m thankful for my guests.

Every time you trust me to help plan a vacation, you give me the opportunity to be part of something meaningful, helping you make memories, celebrate milestones, reconnect with the people you love, and experience a little more of the world.

That is something I never want to take for granted.

Here’s to always being willing to learn, grow, and become better at what we do.

Do you remember? I certainly remember Don Black playing at EPCOT's Festival of the Arts. There are so many talented people. I love witnessing the art throughout this park during the festival.
