Arches National Park is a national park in eastern Utah, United States. The park is adjacent to the Colorado River, 4 miles (6 km) north of Moab, Utah. More than 2,000 natural sandstone arches are located in the park, including the well-known Delicate Arch, as well as a variety of unique geological resources and formations. The park contains the highest density of natural arches in the world and more about on Wikipedia.

Utah - Moab area - USA 🇺🇲

Before the turn-off to Arches national park we turned early, as the navigation led us there. Oh, those navigators, sometimes. We drove along a dirt road for a while before I said, "I'd rather not turn around and try to go further and see. But we found a place where people camp out in the countryside for free. You can download an app to see where the legal camping areas are in the US. For example, the FreeRoam app. Did you know that in the US you can park freely in Walmart's parking lot because the founder wanted to combine traveling with shopping? You'll find that in this app too. And it's worth it to have a stores and restrooms right when you wake up. Isn't it?

Boulder - Colorado - USA 🇺🇲

Hello from Colorado - Boulder. We just drove around Denver and I don't want to take pictures of the city and there was no time for that. We are here visiting friends from the Czech Republic. They live in Boulder just below the mountains and Denver is about 30 minutes from here. The pictures are from the view above the city. We were only here for one night when we drove from Colorado to Utah and beyond. So this is all I got from Colorado and I'll drive to the story. But we've got a couple of stops planned in Utah. So I'll add something. So far, have a great day.

Chicago 🇺🇲🖐❤

One more picture from Chicago. We're currently in Oklahoma. We're getting ready to leave, when we've been frantically looking for a car. I didn't have time to do anything but drive around the car dealerships. I'm gonna do a few things tomorrow and hopefully we'll be on the road on Friday. Coincidentally, I think it's the legendary Route 66 to California. I'll be taking pictures along the way, maybe even a live ride if I can, so we'll see.

What I love about Chicago is these trains that run between the buildings. Typical Chigago. Oh, yeah?😉
It was pretty easy to find this spot to take pictures since it was a few yards from our hotel. Just go up through the garage and take a picture of the subway through one of the windows. The subway stop is called the Merchandise Mart.

2 moody day in Chicago 🇺🇲

We're getting up at 5 o'clock because we're still a bit on European time. So we went out at 6:30 for the sunrise over the city. Unfortunately, it was under a cloud, but it was still nice in Chicago. Here are a couple of pictures from our morning walk through the city. We were along the river again and walked down to Navy pier, where there is the wheel with a view of the city.

1s day around river - Chicago 🇺🇲

The first day we spent almost the whole day walking around the river. We were lucky with the weather. It's unusually warm in Chicago right now, in the 20s, and the weather should be warm all week except for about 2 days with rain. So hopefully it will work out. Chicago is copying the weather in Prague, so the weather in Prague is similar to the weather in Chicago. So we're glad for this weather.

Good morning from Chicago 🇺🇲

This is my second time in Chicago and I really love this city. Clean, quiet, great atmosphere. I gotta say, it feels like Prague. We have the same weather, lots of people with dogs and you rarely see homeless people. Compared to other cities in America, this is a really nice change. LA, for example, is really nothing. No architecture, dirt, tents, lots of crazy people, etc. If you want to show kids not to do drugs, LA could serve as a great deterrent. Chicago has a lot to offer compared to other cities. I think the homeless problem is mostly in cities where it's warm all year round, which Chicago has in the winter. We'll be here for a few days and I'd like to get to know it better than last time. We'll explore not only downtown, but also the wider city. I hope I can show you all the pictures and give you a great American atmosphere.

Hi everybody ❤. We are just leaving Prague by car to Frankfurt. We have a flight tomorrow. We will let you know when we are there and where we are. In the end we decided to leave our dog at home 😒, but we should meet her somewhere under the palm trees after Christmas, so it won't be so bad. We will arrange everything we need without her and 2 months will fly by. I have to say I'm not looking forward to this trip for some reason, so hopefully it won't be too bad. Maybe it's because we're leaving our dog here. We'll see. ✈😘 Have a great day and we're on our way to Germany. Bye.
