🏺 THE TEMPLE IS RISING AT DISNEY’S ANIMAL KINGDOM! 🐍

Construction continues to transform the former Dino Institute as the massive temple for Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent begins to reveal its incredible detail.

Recent aerial views show large sections of the temple’s finished facade being installed over the steel structure, complete with weathered red and tan stonework, intricate carvings and striking turquoise accents. Additional themed sections remain staged around the construction site as Imagineers continue working their way across the enormous structure.

Walt Disney Imagineering has drawn inspiration from the ancient Maya city of Copán and worked alongside archaeologists, anthropologists and Maya experts while developing the attraction.

The adventure will take guests beneath an ancient temple ruin, where Indiana Jones is investigating a mysterious passage near a cenote believed to lead to the Maya Underworld. Along the way, riders will encounter the legendary serpentine creature known as the Tsukán.

It’s incredible to watch this once-familiar corner of Disney’s Animal Kingdom transform into something completely new as Tropical Americas continues toward its debut. 🌿
