Who needs a summer afternoon treat? We know just the place!

There is nothing quite like a warm, powdered-sugar-covered beignet and that legendary homemade syrup from Mo’Bay Beignet Co.! Whether you’re a local or just visiting, a fresh beignet is a rite of passage.

When our guests from New Jersey and Wisconsin mentioned they’d never had a Moon Pie, we knew exactly where to go.

A quick post-tour stop at Bienville Souvenir & Gifts was a must to introduce them to Mobile’s favorite Mardi Gras delicacy. It’s one thing to hear about our Mardi Gras history, but it’s another thing entirely to taste it!

Huge thanks to our friends at Bienville Souvenir for always having the goods. We love being able to go the extra mile to make sure our guests leave with a true taste of Mobile!

That’s a wrap on Brunch! We’ve loved celebrating Mobile’s history and its infamous women with you all month on our Bienville Brunch Tour. Huge thanks to our partners at Ruby Slipper, Trellis Room, Yellowhammer Coffee, Front Yard Tacos, and Dropout Bakery for the incredible hospitality!

When 56 people from New Orleans tell you it’s some of the best food they’ve ever had… you know you’re doing something right!

We had a blast hosting this massive crew from the Amtrak! They made the trip over from NOLA for a full day of Mobile flavors and history. From the moment they stepped off the train until that final bite of bread pudding at Penton’s Bistro, it was non-stop deliciousness!

We had the absolute honor of hosting Saraland’s Summa Cum Laude graduates - the academic all-stars who have reached the highest honors in their class. Instead of a standard banquet or dinner, these seniors, along with their principal, staff, and the Superintendent, hit the streets of downtown Mobile for a celebratory food tour!

It was such a joy to see these bright students exploring the city and celebrating their hard work with some of the best restaurants in our area. Congratulations to the Class of 2026 on this incredible achievement!

Announcing our newest tour: Bites, Brews, and BBQ!

Just in time for Father’s Day and those long summer afternoons, we’re bringing back one of our most requested experiences for a limited run this June!

The Bites: Celebrate Father’s Day (or any day!) with the ultimate lineup of burgers, slow-smoked barbecue, wings, pizza, fried okra, tacos, and banana pudding!

The Brews: Our stops will complement the food with an optional local, craft beer, bourbon, and bushwacker pairing!

The BBQ & Baseball: Hear the legendary stories of Mobile’s baseball greats and the history of the Mobile River as we stroll through the heart of downtown.

This tour makes for the perfect Father’s Day gift or a fun summer outing with friends! Spots are limited with only a three dates in June - June 6th, June 13th, and June 20th.

The future of the Gulf Coast food scene is looking bright! We had the absolute pleasure of hosting culinary students from the Pascagoula/Gautier school system for a day of exploring, tasting, and learning in downtown Mobile.

It wasn’t just a field trip; it was a masterclass in hospitality. The students got up close and personal with some of our city’s heavy hitters. They met Panini Pete at Parc Le Tralour, and get this, Pete was actually ON the Food Network on the TV behind them while they were talking to him! Talk about a “starstruck” moment!

From seeing the massive, high-volume operation at the Battle House Hotel with Chef Tony Reynolds to watching Chef Jeremy Penton work his magic with local ingredients in a small, resourceful kitchen, these students saw every side of the industry. A huge thank you to our local chefs for opening their doors and sharing their wisdom. This is what community is all about!

Our Bienville Brunch Tour is a favorite because it takes us right through the heart of DeTonti Square - Mobile’s oldest residential neighborhood. There is something majestic about walking past these stunning historic homes and peaceful streets between our brunch stops.

Whether you’re celebrating a belated Mother’s Day or just want to experience the “Old Mobile” charm, this walk is the ultimate Saturday morning reset. We pair the city’s most beautiful scenery with its most delicious brunch bites, it’s the best of both worlds!

We have 2️⃣ Saturday’s left to enjoy this tour before we move on to our next themed tour for the summer!
