Mid-America is looking for Drone Pilots for the upcoming storm season.

You must have your FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification to accept drone assignments.

Delaying hurricane preparations could mean waiting until it’s too late.

According to NOAA, now is the time to:

-Develop an evacuation plan: Know where you’ll go and how you’ll get there.
-Assemble disaster supplies: Stock up while shelves are full — prepare for the storm and its aftermath.
-Get an insurance checkup & document possessions: Make sure you have adequate coverage. Remember, flood insurance requires a 30-day waiting period.
-Create a family communication plan: Write it down and share it. Include meeting places and an out-of-town contact.
-Strengthen your home: Trim trees, install shutters, seal openings, and prepare your property to withstand impacts.
