Happy Swedish Meatball Day! 🇸🇪✨ Today, 23 August, we’re celebrating one of Sweden’s most loved and delicious comfort foods — the classic Swedish meatball! 😋🍽️ Served with creamy gravy, smooth mashed potatoes, sweet lingonberry sauce, and a sprinkle of fresh herbs, this traditional dish is a true taste of Sweden. ❤️💛💙

Whether you enjoy them homemade, at a restaurant, or with family around the table, Swedish meatballs always bring warmth and happiness.

I have fond memories of our Spectacular Scandinavia tour, September 2025.
We had our first Swedish Meatballs with lingonberry sauce at our Welcome Dinner.
An evening I will not forget…the ambiance, service, and delicious food were exceptional.
I also shared the meal with fellow travelers…some I knew, others I met for the first time.
