Today, December 21st, in 1945 General George S. Patton died. He was buried in the US cemetery in Luxembourg. We have visited his grave many times. He was one of my heroes. Some of you have been there with me. Some of you have yet too.

For anybody going to Germany with us on a future trip. I highly recommend you watch this guy's videos. You can learn a lot about slow riding a motorcycle on switchback type roads. We will be on roads similar to this, but one of the big differences is the roads you will be on we'll have very little traffic. The main thing I can tell you about these kinds of turns, it's very important to keep spacing, stay away from other riders or cars.

Also it's extremely important to keep moving forward, you'll notice if you watch these videos when people slow down too much or stop that's when they fall over. So you always want to be moving forward. You need to stay in your lane, keep moving forward, and keep your distance from each other. If one guy goes down it can be like Domino's, if everybody's too close to each other and we all go down.

Over the years of taking people on tour one of the things I've learned, is that some people's riding skills at slow speeds are fairly poor. They're okay as long as they are going 60 mph, but when you slow down and have to maneuver that seems to be where most people have problems. So I definitely recommend practice. Take your bike to a nice big parking lot, practice doing tight turns, practice going slow in a straight line. Make a event out of it with your friends. See who can go the slowest. Doing these things will greatly improve your riding skills.

Day one GHT 2025. We arrived in Luxembourg on time and with no issues. Now on to Germany. Day two our guests arrived all on time also. We make a run back to Luxembourg to meet them and pickup our bikes. Our first stop is the American WWII cemetery in Luxembourg, then on to Germany

We arrived back in Germany, got everyone settled in to their rooms. Then dinner and a short walk to the church square for some live music, dancing, beers and food. The band was very good. We all had a great time.

Our trip is drawing very near now. Who's getting excited? I know I certainly am. Here's a little video of one of the many cool things we will see. This is the Porta negra in Trier Germany. Ancient Roman ruins. And a lot more to see. Enjoy this video.

Our 2025 trip is approaching very fast now. I wanted say a few words about the daily schedule. I have provided this to everyone before but wanted to be sure everyone going has it. If you need a copy let me know and I can send it to you. There is a new event going on during this trip called Harleys and Wine. It is held in the town of Ürzig. We will be talking about this once we are all together.
