Jordan Lake wildlife is amazing now and in full swing. Eagle sightings have been pretty good lately. Although we could use some rain, lake levels remain above normal of 216 ft MSL. Jordan Lake Journeys participated in the Clean Jordan Lake trash collection today, March 14th, 2026. 59 volunteers, working with our great friends at US Army Corp of Engineers JL, collected over 200 bags of trash and several tires. Thanks to all the great volunteers who share a passion for keeping Jordan Lake clean for the present and our future. We hope to see you on the water soon. 🇺🇸🦅🫎🐠

Jordan Lake Journeys is now open and accepting bookings for tours for the 2026 season. It is still February and winter but warmer days are ahead soon. The amazing wildlife Jordan Lake has to offer us is alive and waiting for us to enjoy this year. JLJ will also be participating in Clean Jordan Lake on Sat. March 14th from 8-12. We hope to see you on the water soon.

The Jordan Lake 2025 season is winding down now at Jordan Lake Journeys. We will close for the season on Nov. 30th. We say Thank you to all our guests who booked with us in 2025. We met folks from all walks of life, saw beautiful wildlife, military guys parachuting out of airplanes, racing boats and also continued our support of CleanJordanLake twice during the year. 2026 Season will open Feb. 1st. We hope to see you on the water soon!

JLJ enjoyed hosting members of the Southeast Wanderers RV Camping group yesterday at Jordan Lake for two wildlife tours. We saw 10 eagles which set a new record for JLJ. Thanks to Maria at SW for the bookings. Season ends after Thanksgiving. Hope to see you on the water soon. 🇺🇸🦅🦂🐠

The hot weather is behind us and Fall is here! Cooler weather and lower humidity levels make autumn a great time at Jordan Lake. Current lake level is 215 feet above sea level, one foot below normal. Some rain would help. Wildlife is amazing here and bald eagle sightings have been very active recently. Consider doing a 2 hour Jordan Lake Journey with your family or friends. Discounts for Vets.

Jordan Lake Journeys enjoyed participating in the Clean Jordan Lake event today at Ebenezzer Day Use Area. About 70 bags of trash and a few tires were removed from Jordan Lake today. Thank you to all the volunteers who supported this great event! This was a special cleanup after Chantel. The next event will be in October. We hope to see you on the water soon. 🇺🇸🦅🦂🐠

I was not able to get enough interest in the Tuesday night meteor shower tour so it will not be held. We will try again next year. This tour has been successful in the past but a 90% full moon this week makes it more difficult. The eagles have been very active the past few days during day tours and water levels are returning to normal. I hope Jordan Lake Journeys can serve your family this year. See you on the water soon!
