Big weekend.....Nashville travelers bringing "Hunter & dad" to the farm. Hope for ducks......cause there anit any. Parker is also bring a frat bud too. Good eats though. JL is doing a butt on the smoker.

Well the first split has come and gone. And we are ahead of the bird count compared w/ last yr. (not by much). Artic blast hit Dec.5 and pushed some birds our way.
Vic, Jason and Loomas hit #2 pit for some action. Had flights of 25 or more to work but not finish. Still had a good days.
Sunday, Monday and Tuesday saw the place lock up and made for tough hunting.....but Monday we(me also) came up with the 2nd highest total of the yr.....12 birds. Would have had more if the "guide" had not had to leave. Work calls.
Fuzzy needs to get on a roll........but he did kill a limit on 3 shots Friday. All teal.
The farm is frozen up.... Maybe bye this weekend it will be open.

Well the 2013-14 season is under way. Forcast is not good.
Temps in the mid 20's and cloudy to overcast skies.
Opening morning, the pres, Jason the guide, Lumas & Bobby Todd went to pit 2 and set the standard for the farm.....18 of a mixed bag.
Fuzzy, Tequila Tim and Rib cooker Glen at point blind.....only 1 from that group.
Naked butt Vic and fast steel slep in.
Very few birds for Sunday.
Fuzzy, @ #4....Blank
pres, Jason the guide, Lumas & Bobby Todd at #2 again.....not as many as opening day by far......4 maybe 6
Music City Travelers, Fast Steel and Yo went to #1 blind and didn't fire a shot.
Monday:
Jason the guide, Lumas, Fast Steel and Yo at #2.....2 birds.
Cold and wet.....AND no birds
Fuzzy at #4.....got cold and came in.
Tuesday:
Fuzzy,Fast steel & Me...................slept in.

BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO J.L. ON BEING A GRAND-PAW

Fuzzy, Fast steel made their way to Macks for a savings bonanza.

Wednesday......Macks road trip again. No savings today.
Maybe the sun will shine on the farm the rest of the week and there will be some birds to move in.
