Just returned from a super fun mother and daughter trip to . The highlight was immersing ourselves in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The attention to detail transports you to Diagon Alley and Hogsmede.

I made the trip stress free by staying at a Universal Premier Resort which comes with a free unlimited express pass so you can skip the lines. This allowed us to wander the parks, take our time and not worry about lines even during Spring Break crowds.

The highlight of the trip was Universal’s Mardi Gras celebration. There are special food and beverage booths celebrating the flavors of New Orleans and a nightly Mardi Gras parade with amazing dancers, floats and lots of jazz music!

One of the easiest ways to save at Disneyland as well as Disney World is to bring in your own reusable water bottle! Both places get hot and with all the walking you want to be sure to stay hydrated. Bring your own bottle full of ice water and you can refill it at most quick service dining locations!

And for those picky eaters, you are able to bring your own snacks in as well. Throw in applesauce, fruit snacks, and even a PB&J into a soft sided cooler in your stroller and avoid those mid-day hangry meltdowns! Just remember that while ice packs are okay, loose ice is a no go at both parks!

🏝My favorite day onboard the brand new Odyssey of the Seas was our stop at Royal Caribbean's private island Coco Cay in the Bahamas.

🏝Just like the ship Coco Cay has something for everyone. If you feel like relaxing hang out at Chill Beach or swim up to the pool bar for a cocktail. If you prefer something more active then be sure to visit Thrill Waterpark with water slides that will get your adrenaline pumping.
