Rockfishing has been pretty good recently! The weather hasn’t been the best, keeping us out of Big Sur, but we’ve been making it work with the semi local fishing and it’s been quality. Limits of rockfish have been common, with some nice lingcod mixed in. Despite the challenging conditions, the bite has stayed consistent and the ocean has given us plenty of opportunities to put quality fish on the deck.

The rockfish bite has been on and they’ve been quality fish! The last week has been great for rockfishing and the weather has been beautiful as well. We’ve been seeing steady action with full bags of quality reds, coppers, and some nice lingcod mixed in. Hard to beat calm ocean conditions and nonstop action out on the water right now!

Finally some chrome! The water’s starting to shape up just right, and it’s feeling like salmon season is finally knocking on the door. We scratched around early, but once 11am rolled around we found the zone and got into a steady bite ended up with 4 keepers! Things are definitely trending in the right direction.

Rockfish season has been on fire all month with a steady, quality bite. The lings are definitely showing up too. We wrapped up today with 41 lings between both boats.

Salmon season has been a little slower to start. We got a few looks opening week but no keepers yet. Water conditions are improving, so we’re optimistic and will keep you posted when they show.

Absolute dream conditions out there today. Flat calm seas and limits of quality rockfish. Took the run down to Big Sur and it paid off in a big way. Days like this are hard to beat.

Incredible fishing today! Made the run down to Big Sur and found a wide open bite. Quality rockfish, some absolute monster lings, scattered whitefish, and even a bonito in the mix. Just shy of limits, but with this kind of quality, everyone went home with heavy bags.
