Jumbo rockfish have been the name of the game lately! We’ve been seeing some quality fish hit the deck, and the action has been as good as the size. The quality has been outstanding, with limits coming over the rail and some seriously impressive fish mixed in.

Rockfishing has been pretty good recently! The weather hasn’t been the best, keeping us out of Big Sur, but we’ve been making it work with the semi local fishing and it’s been quality. Limits of rockfish have been common, with some nice lingcod mixed in. Despite the challenging conditions, the bite has stayed consistent and the ocean has given us plenty of opportunities to put quality fish on the deck.

The rockfish bite has been on and they’ve been quality fish! The last week has been great for rockfishing and the weather has been beautiful as well. We’ve been seeing steady action with full bags of quality reds, coppers, and some nice lingcod mixed in. Hard to beat calm ocean conditions and nonstop action out on the water right now!
