We took home 1st place tonight on Sam Rayburn tournament. Interesting format of the total length of 10 fish.
We came in at just over 42 feet with 2 long nose over 60”. We had a great time competing on a lake we don’t fish often. Thank you to the d***s hosting this cool format.

John the sniper came back and brought his goddaughter Logan for her first time. She shot so well especially considering shes never shot a bow! It was a great evening and I really enjoyed being a part of it! Thanks again John, see you on the next one!

Rain cleared out for a banger trip tonight! 2 first timers and a previous client filled the boat and shot some studs including the new lake Conroe spotted gar record. It’s late a night so I have to wait until tomorrow to weight the fish and it will likely lose enough to not qualify by then. However, as of now, congrats John on your record! Spotted gar for Conroe bowfishing is currently 10.7lbs at 37 is held by a good friend and Texas state rep for the BAA Mike Shehane and John’s first time gar weights 10.8-11.02lbs 37.5”

Found some tonight. Almost peak spawn, the next week after the rain will be magic! Spent tonight with my dad, my grandpa, and good buddies and deckhands instead of chartering. Was a nice break and the first time we’ve got to fish without working this season.
