Totes as a baby, and Totes today! At 7 years old, Totes still has his same adorable smile. Totes is a Saborpine goat, which is a popular pack goat breed mix. Saborpines are mixes of Saanen, Alpine, and Boer dairy goats.

Hanging out with my best buddy, Echo. All the goats have individual personalities, but Echo is just the sweetest guy around 🥰. Echo is an Oberhasli, Alpine, Lamancha mix breed specifically for packing. His favorite activities are giving goat kisses, hanging out with his humans, and munching on crunchy leaves!

A week ago we were hiking in the red rock desert and now we are snowed in! It’s gotten so deep that the goats could easily just step over there fence in places, but they don’t want to leave their warm dry shelters ❄️

The goats and I love showing people around Bears Ears National Monument, but it’s extra fun when it’s family! I’m so glad is able to come exploring with us! We have had some beautiful January days for adventuring 💕🐐👯‍♀️

Sisters on a goat hike! My sister Kerry is out visiting from Michigan, and of course the first thing we have to do is goat hiking. The goats were excited to see their “auntie “ again, they hadn’t seen her since they were kids!

The goats say enough snow already! We got 17 inches over about 30 hours and it’s still coming down. The goats have lots of warm bedding to cuddle up in and we bring them warm goat tea (water and molasses), but we are dreaming of warmer days!

We found another use for all the Christmas Trees that have been donated to our farm! They make a great snow screen to keep the interior of the barn warm and dry. The goats push right through them to get inside, and they can eat them! Now if only it would stop snowing so we could goat on a walk…
