Here's a quick run down of this weekend's events -
➡Friday @ 7pm & Saturday @ 2pm - 'The Birth of Motown' Musical Theater Camp Performances. Presented by Thomas Persons Hall and the Jasper County Historical Foundation. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
➡Saturday 8am - 2pm - Monticello Market on the Square - RAIN OR SHINE! Vendor map is attached.
➡Saturday 11am - 7pm - Blaque Butterfly at Reese Hall hosts the 2nd annual Smoke Over Monticello event - a bbq-style cookoff with samples, vendors, music and more! Taste tickets are $10, entry to the venue is free. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to local non-profits.

See parts of the water you've never seen before when you venture out with the Jackson Lake Association to Ride the River with new friends! Scheduled for July 20 & August 10, bring your personal water craft and explore the rivers that feed Jackson Lake. And after, meet up with your new friends for a lunch at one of the marinas and still have time to enjoy more on your Saturday! July 20th and August 10th
Jackson Lake Association coordinates this Free Event for PWC owners to come together and ride our scenic rivers. Meet new neighbors who share your passion; it's like a "motorcycle gang on water!"

🕙 When: Gather at Lloyd Shoals Dam 9:45-10:00 a.m.. Ride for approx. 1.5 hours then get together to dine and bond at a local marina afterwards!

Don't forget that this Friday & Saturday you can come out and enjoy the concert performed by the participants of this year's Musical Theater Camp. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door on Friday & Saturday.
Friday's performance starts at 7pm, Saturday at 2pm. Come out and dance in your seat, sing along and pick out your favorite familiar faces in the cast & crew. This year's theme is the 'Birth of Motown' and it's sure to be a crowd pleaser! Tickets are on sale now at the Monticello-Jasper County Chamber of Commerce and Thomas Persons Hall. More details are on the attached flyer. We can't wait to see you there!

Here's your weekend event update!

➡Monticello Market on the Square is Satuday, from 8am-2pm. Gardens have started producing and farmers have started harvesting - come check out the selections from several vendors.
➡The Jackson Lake Association's Annual Poker Run begins at 11am.
➡MKR Monticello Kart Racing is hosting Scout's Day at the track in the evening, admission is $10 and gates open at 4pm.
