🌄 And that’s a wrap on our West Virginia Wild Adventure! ✨We finished our journey unforgettably—climbing a mountain for sweeping views from a tower, practicing yoga high above the valley, floating along the beautiful Greenbrier River by kayak, and sharing stories and laughter around the campfire. 🔥🛶🧘‍♀️The true highlight was the friendships, encouragement, laughter, and camaraderie. Thank you for making this adventure so memorable.❤️

When it comes to improving trails, nothing tells the story better than a before-and-after photo. 📸 Our volunteer trail crew rehabilitated this badly eroded, steep section of the Three Bridges Trail at Carter Caves State Resort Park. What makes this accomplishment even more impressive is that much of the work was completed by volunteers with little or no prior trail maintenance experience.👏🥾🌲

What a productive weekend on the trails at Carter Caves State Resort Park! 🌲🛠️ Our trail crew tackled projects on the Three Bridges and Rockhouse Trails, focusing on rehabilitating a severely eroded, steep section that needed some serious attention. 💪 17 volunteers from 4 states-the results speak for themselves—we received many compliments from park visitors on the improvements! 🙌 Thank you to our hardworking crew for a truly successful outing. 🌟 Join us next time! 📅

I've now completed my 4th Camino de Santiago — and my second as a group leader. 🥾💛 Every Camino is different, and each one changes me in ways I'm still discovering. Somewhere along the way, the Camino becomes more than a walk across Spain — it becomes an transformational and spiritual journey. ✨🙏🇪🇸 Ain't life grand?

Fifteen years ago today, two months into a three-month trek across Ohio, Andy Niekmap wrote this: The longer I continue, the stronger my desire is to finish. I'm too invested in this journey now to just quit because it's hard. I have more miles behind than I have ahead. I'm now stronger—physically, mentally, emotionally—and more committed to walking home via the Buckeye Trail.
