Greeting from the Elk Refuge south of Grand Teton National Park. Big horn sheep are out and grazing.

The Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep is the state mammal of Wyoming and is known for its large, curved horns that can weigh up to 30 pounds.

A female grizzly bear that delighted visitors for decades in Wyoming’s Grand Teton National Park has been struck and killed by a vehicle.

Leaves are dropping and snow is filling up the mountains, but the wildlife is still at it. Fox are carnivores that hunt small game. This particular one seemed to look for mice and vole along the golf course.
