Capt. Jess had the pleasure of chatting with the great fish artist Guy Harvey when he was in Morehead City today. In addition to great artwork, he formed a foundation that provides research on sharks and billfish. In my opinion he has greatly aided billfish and shark convervation with his beautiful art and his foundation. We chatted together about our shared love for Hemingway's book-"The Old Man and the Sea."

Today’s crew found some nice whelks, great big sand dollars, and a very nice Sunray Venus clam. We had great encounters with wild horses and dolphins and we almost got shot down by a pirate ship!
