One fish, two fish, redfish and no bluefish 😉. Another “frequent flyer” joined us today for a beautiful day in the neighborhood! We finally had some good weather. These great folks from Rhode Island had an epic encounter with swimming wild horses, witnessed a great dolphin show, enjoyed swimming, cruising, relaxing and they even caught a few fish!

Sometimes this is all you need…sand dollars, fishing, a few wild horses and some dolphins…perfect! This fun family crew has been out with us 5 times, I think… Maybe we should start a frequent flyers program.

When you live where people vacation, where do you vacation? The Crystal Coast is always a great choice! This fun crew from VA Beach chose Crystal Coast Ecotours 2 years in row with hopes to be back again. We had great luck with big shells and sand dollars. We also did some swimming and snorkeling and just hanging out having fun. We got to see a loggerhead turtle but got skunked on the dolphins. Of course, the wild horses were cooperative and beautiful as usual.

We interrupt your scrolling to bring you a BABY WILD HORSE on the Crystal Coast! 🤩 This 3X repeat crew got to encounter a new resident of Shackleford Banks…and many more. The horses were everywhere today. We witnessed a fabulous dolphin show and had a quick stop at the Cape Lookout lighthouse before outrunning a rain shower while steaming back to the dock. We caught a fish in there somewhere…

Cooler temps are a welcome change for sure! Today was gorgeous…low 80’s, light winds and sunny skies. This fun repeat crew enjoyed fishing, cast net lessons, hunting for sand dollars on a secluded sandbar, watching the wild horses roam, and beach combing for shells.

COOL CRITTER DAY!! We thought we would share some neat photos of some of the wonders that we see on our adventures. All the live animals were quickly released back to the water. We discovered a : slender-eyed mole crab; sea heart (seed from the Caribbean); box crab; Atlantic Giant Cockle; black-crowned night heron, sea slug and purple sea urchin (sand dollar). It’s FRIDAY GIRLS DAY with Crystal Coast Ecotours! This fun group of college buddies got together for a fabulous day on the water. We dodged a few rain showers but it turned out to be gorgeous at Cape Lookout. We had great encounters with dolphins and wild horses swimming. We had a quick chat about the lighthouse and then we searched a secluded beach for shells.

🇺🇸 81 year old former US Navy ship Captain enjoyed a gorgeous afternoon navigating the waters of the Crystal Coast. Thank you for your service Chuck! I can’t believe he was ok with a retired US Air Force guy taking him out on the water for an afternoon of fun. Of course he got to drive the boat, and so did his great granddaughter. We did some cruising, saw the lighthouse and had a great dolphin show.
