What an incredible first day of the Green River Catfish Festival! 🎉

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out, braved the heat, and helped make the first night such a success. Your support is what makes this festival so special!

Tonight’s events were fantastic! We enjoyed thrilling motocross action, crowned an amazing group of young ladies during the Green River Catfish Festival Pageant, and were blown away by the incredible local talent showcased during Showcase on the Green. We are so proud that both the pageant and Showcase featured talented individuals from Butler County. Congratulations to all of our participants for making the evening so memorable!

We’re just getting started and can’t wait to welcome even more festival-goers over the next two days!

📅 Friday’s Highlights:
🐶 Dog Show – 5:00 PM
🐟 Catfish Wrastlin’ – 6:00 PM at the RAFT Pavilion
🎶 Praise Night – 7:00 PM featuring an evening of uplifting gospel music and fellowship.

Join the City of Morgantown, in partnership with the Morgantown - Butler County Chamber of Commerce, as we celebrate Independence Day during the Green River Catfish Festival.

📍 Main Stage—Green River Fairgrounds

Celebrate with the Mayor and City Council, enjoy patriotic t-shirts and cookies (while supplies last), and then stay for the largest fireworks show in South Central Kentucky at dusk.
