Can we collectively stop pretending toddlers need open-to-close Disney days? 😅

Here’s the thing: Disney with little kids works best when you stop planning for the perfect itinerary and start planning around the actual child you brought.

✨ Up early? Rope drop.
✨ Need extra sleep? Let them sleep.
✨ Midday break? Non-negotiable in my book.
✨ Ages 3–5? One park a day is usually plenty.
✨ Pool time counts.
✨ Skipping fireworks because bedtime matters? Also valid.

You do NOT have to do everything to have an amazing Disney trip.

The best toddler Disney days feel flexible, realistic, and way less overwhelming for everyone involved.

Save this before someone convinces you toddlers need a 14-hour park day. 👏

Can we normalize talking about this?

A lot of moms quietly worry Disney won’t be worth the money.

Not because they don’t want to go — but because what if:

✨ your kids are overstimulated?
✨ everyone melts down?
✨ you spend thousands and feel disappointed?
✨ you miss the “important” things?
✨ you somehow do Disney wrong?

I had those fears too.

That’s a huge reason I plan trips the way I do now: realistic pacing, hotels that fit the actual family, priorities that make sense for YOUR kids, and helping you figure out what’s worth the money (and what’s not).

Because your vacation shouldn’t leave you more stressed than before you left.

You deserve a trip that feels exciting, not overwhelming.

Save this if Disney feels like a lot sometimes ❤️

Okay, someone had to say it…

Fireworks are not mandatory. 👀

Before the Disney police arrive in the comments, hear me out:

I’m not anti-fireworks.

I’m anti forcing exhausted kids and overwhelmed parents to stay out until everyone is one inconvenience away from losing it.

Sometimes the smartest Disney move is calling it early.

Because if staying for fireworks means:

❌ skipped sleep
❌ overstimulated kids
❌ miserable exits
❌ everyone cranky tomorrow

…was it actually worth it?

The best Disney trips aren’t about doing everything.

They’re about pacing your trip so your family actually enjoys it.

And yes, sometimes that means leaving before fireworks.

Are fireworks a MUST for your family or an easy skip? 👇

Google can absolutely book a Disney trip.

But Google also thinks every family should rope drop, park hop, survive on mobile order snacks, and somehow magically avoid overstimulation by pure optimism. 😅

Here’s what I actually help with:

✨ helping you choose a resort that actually fits YOUR family
✨ telling you what’s worth the money (and what absolutely isn’t)
✨ Lightning Lane strategy that makes sense for your trip
✨ troubleshooting when Disney inevitably Disney’s
✨ making the whole thing feel way less overwhelming

Because no, every family does not need the same Disney plan.

And I will absolutely tell you when internet advice is terrible. 😂

What’s the most overwhelming part of planning Disney for you? 👇

Let’s talk about the part nobody wants to say out loud…

You can rope drop every day with a toddler.

You can also try hitchhiking to Magic Kingdom — I don’t recommend either. 😅

The truth is, toddlers ages 2–3 don’t need a “maximized” park plan. They need a realistic one.

Because the difference between a magical Disney day and a meltdown-filled one usually comes down to this:

→ skipping park hopping
→ letting naps happen wherever they happen
→ taking a pool break without guilt
→ sitting down for an actual dinner instead of rushing counter service

It’s not about doing more in a day.

It’s about making sure you still like each other by fireworks. ✨

And this is exactly why I plan Disney trips very differently for families with littles.

If you want, I can map out what a non-overstimulating Disney day actually looks like for your kid’s age.

A little reminder that the person planning your vacation is also… just a normal human 😅

When I’m not planning Disney, Universal, cruises, and all-inclusive trips, I’m probably:

📚 reading books I can’t explain publicly
🐶 hanging out with my dogs
📱 deep in a TikTok true crime rabbit hole convincing myself it counts as self care…

After being a travel agent I definitely know my s**t!

Your Disney trip will feel VERY different depending on how you handle picky eaters.

And I’m going to say it clearly:

Stop forcing adventurous dining with kids.

It’s not the time for “they’ll just try it.”

It’s the time for survival meals that keep everyone fed, happy, and out of meltdown territory.

Stick to the safe wins:
✔ chicken tenders
✔ mac & cheese
✔ pizza
✔ plain pasta
✔ burgers
✔ fruit
✔ uncrustables-level safe options

And if you want reliable Disney dining that works for picky eaters, I consistently recommend:
✨ Chef Mickey’s
✨ Hollywood & Vine
✨ Via Napoli

Because when your kid is fed and happy… your entire Disney day changes.

Save this before your trip, seriously.

It’ll save you stress you didn’t even know you could avoid.

If you think travel advisors just “book trips”… this might hurt your feelings 😅

Because this job is not clicking a button and calling it a day.

It’s Disney. Universal. Cruises. All-inclusives. Group travel.

It’s research, strategy, supplier knowledge, troubleshooting, timing, and problem solving behind the scenes.

You’re not paying for someone to type your credit card into a website.

You’re paying for expertise that helps you avoid expensive mistakes and stressful vacation planning.

And yes, travel advisors are paid commission for that expertise or a planning fee.

Now I need honesty 👇
What did YOU think travel advisors actually did before you knew better?

Unpopular Disney planner opinion: some Disney snacks are all hype and no flavor 👀

I said what I said.

As a travel agent who specializes in Disney destinations, I think people waste WAY too much snack money on things that look cute online but honestly taste… underwhelming.

If I’m spending Disney money, a snack needs to do at least one thing:

✨ actually taste good
✨ be shareable
✨ feel worth the price

My repeat buys?

🧇 Sleepy Hollow waffles — filling, shareable, and actually lives up to the hype

🥨 Mickey pretzel — controversial, I know 😂 but it’s iconic, easy to split, and I’m defending it

🥑 Avocado margarita — if you know, you know

🍍 Dole whip — classic for a reason

Meanwhile, some of those viral “must try” snacks are giving… expensive photo prop 😅

Okay your turn: what Disney snack are you defending with your life?

If Disney transportation stresses you out before your trip even starts…this is for you.

You are not alone in that.

As a travel agent who specializes in Disney destinations, transportation is one of the most underrated planning decisions I see families worry about…and it makes sense.

Because suddenly you’re thinking about:

How you get from MCO to your resort…

How you get around Disney once you’re there…

whether you should rely on buses, boats, Skyliner… or just Uber everything

And it feels like a lot.

Here’s the truth:

Disney transportation is actually very manageable when it’s broken down simply.

From the airport, you’ve got options like Mears Connect or Away We Go.

Once you’re on property, most resorts already have built-in transportation like buses, boats, Skyliner access, Monorail, or even walking paths depending on where you stay.

And if you want flexibility, Minnie Vans through the Lyft app are always there as an option too.

The problem isn’t transportation.

It’s trying to understand it all at once.

That’s where most people feel overwhelmed and where I step in.

Because when this part is clear, the rest of your trip feels so much easier.

If you’re planning your Disney trip and already feeling behind, I can help simplify all of this for you.

You don’t have to figure it out alone.
