Last night's was the 2025 Arkansas River Valley Tri-Peaks Tourism Association's Annual Banquet and Awards Ceremony at Lake Sylvia Recreation Area south of Perryville.

It was a wonderful evening of celebrating many of those who have done so much to promote and grow tourism here in the six-county River Valley/Tri Peaks area - to include Conway County's own Joe Buckley, Superintendent at Petit Jean State Park, Arkansas's first and most popular state park.

Additionally, Morrilton Mayor Allen Lipsmeyer has declared today as "Joe Buckley Day" in the City of Morrilton and urges everyone to send him a message of congratulations!

Scenic Highway 7 from Hot Springs National Park is a popular route for many of our visitors from the south heading to beautiful Petit Jean State Park -- and the historic Hollis Country Store on Highway 7 has been a popular stop for travelers on that route since 1930!

Looking for a taste of old Arkansas? Hollis Country Store has been serving up refreshments and supplies in the Ouachitas for nearly a century.
