The Story of Lost Cabins..

My name is Mark West and I'm the owner here at Lost Cabins. Petit Jean Mountain is where my family originated from back in the 1800’s and we have been visiting Petit Jean as long as I can remember. Considering how beautiful and peaceful it is on Petit Jean, we are not the only people that like to visit. Every year, thousands of people visit the Petit Jean State Park, which is only minutes away from our cabins, and checks out everything the mountain has to offer. From the waterfalls and miles upon miles of hiking trails, there is a bunch to do here and people love it. The only problem is that there are very few spots to camp compared to the high number of visitors and not everyone is able to book a year in advance. Thats where I got the idea to build beautiful cabins on family land that is affordable and easier to come stay at considering you don't have to bring your big RV or set up a tent. We look forward to sharing not only our cabins with you but also the beautiful Petit Jean Mountain.
