Confession:

I can plan an entire Disney vacation…

Which resort makes the most sense.
Which park to do on which day.
Dining reservations.
Lightning Lanes.
Park transportation.
Airport transfers.
Special events.
When to book everything.
What you need to pack.
Where you need to be and when.

I keep track of ALLLLL the moving pieces…BUT ask me at 5PM what my own family is having for dinner?

Absolutely no idea!

My personal top 3 September vacation picks:

1). Tuscany, Italy
September in Tuscany just sounds perfect. Warm days, beautiful countryside, wine harvest season, incredible food, and that beginning-of-fall feeling without actually being cold yet. Give me a little town, a glass of wine, and a view and I’m happy.

2). Walt Disney World
September can be a great time to visit Disney World because the pricing is usually better than some of the busier times of year, and fall has officially arrived in the parks. Halloween decorations, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, fall treats… all while it still feels like summer in Florida.

The catch? You can’t be afraid of a little rain. 😂 Pack a poncho, throw it in your park bag, and keep going!

3). Aruba
Because when everyone else starts talking about sweaters and pumpkin spice, sometimes I still want a beach. Aruba is outside the main hurricane belt, making it one of my favorite Caribbean options to consider for September. Give me sunshine, gorgeous water, and my toes in the sand.

So apparently my September travel personality is: wine in Italy, Halloween at Disney, or toes in the sand. There is no in-between.

Currently over here on the struggle bus trying to decide if I want this weather to stay forever or if I’m ready to fully commit to fall.

Give me all the cute fall clothes. Give me the decorations. Give me hot coffee. Give me Hocus Pocus on repeat. Give me those perfect fall days where it’s chilly in the morning but you don’t need 47 layers just to leave the house.

I am READY!!

But then my brain likes to remind me that after fall comes… winter.

And suddenly I’m like, you know what? Maybe 96 degrees isn’t so bad. 😂

Can we just vote to make September and October last about six months and then go straight back to summer?
