Position: Purchasing Specialist / Production Control Specialist
Salary:　50,000 per year ~ DOE (*リロケーションも検討可能)、
Location: Greenville, SCエリア

JOB DUTIES: Scheduling, Inside Sales, Purchasing, Shipping/Receiving
 Make the weekly production schedule for each machine (Cold Form, Lathe Machines) and adjust the
schedule by the production progress.
 Monitor the inventory level of each part and the daily order from the customer.
 Communicate with the customer if see an irregular quantity or delivery date/lead time.
 Release the raw material from suppliers based on the production plan.
 Count the inventory quantity of each part at the end of the month and adjust the quantity of the inventory file.
 Place the monthly order of raw materials to suppliers according to the customer forecast.
 Secure the raw material for the new part launch and prepare for the mass-production timing.
 Count the raw material inventory quantity at the end of the month and adjust the quantity of the inventory file.
 Organize the raw material site daily to meet FIFO and make space for incoming raw materials.
 Check the documents (BL, Mill-sheet, Invoice) for the raw material receipt and enter them in the inventory file, and erased them when used.
 Determine the order quantity of import distribution parts monthly and monitor the inventory level and
the order from the customer. Communicate with Japan/China to adjust the quantity and the delivery date.
 Arrange the transportation for the export parts and communicate with Japan for the quantity and delivery date.
 Work with the shipping/receiving personnel/subordinates for daily shipping/receiving and manage the warehouse.
 Work with the shipping personnel to decide the quantity of parts to send the heat treater and plating supplier.
 Monitor the steel market in both US and Japan and negotiate/confirm the pricing with suppliers semiannually.
 Supplier auditing

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Proficient in English and Japanese (both speaking and writing)
2. Strong PC skills (Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point)
3. Team player
4. Must be able to travel with short or no notice. 1- 2 trips per month.
5. This position is 24-hour sales contact to customers.
6. Must be able to communicate with a parent company in Japan in Japanese time, occasionally.
7. Some college

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
 Customer service experience
 Negotiation skills
 Multitasking skills
 Knowledge in metal forming, heat treatment, surface treatment, and mass production quality control

Health and Fringe Benefits -

Vision: Provided by VSP (underwritten by Principal Insurance) and is available as a supplemental insurance

3. Short-Term Disability: Provided by Companion Life and is 100% employer paid
Life/AD&D Insurance: $20,000 policy provided by Principal Insurance and is 100% employer paid

4. 401(k): Provided by Principal Insurance. Participation is optional following one year of employment.

*Above mentioned benefits are provided for the employee. Dependent coverage is available at employee cost.

Additional benefits -
1. Paid holidays: 8 per year (New Year, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, Christmas Day and the day before or after)
2. Paid days off: 5 vacation days, 2 personal days, and 4 sick days are awarded to use between Jan 1-Dec 31 annually.
Paid days are prorated during the first year of employment. Vacation days increase to 10 days for 2nd through 5th full years of employment and 15 days following 6th full years of employment

We are currently seeking a Controls Systems Engineer to join our team. Working with other highly motivated Engineers, you will be involved with integrating, testing, troubleshooting and programming electrical controls.

Responsibilities:
• PLC programming with Mitsubishi PLC
• Adjusting, troubleshooting, modifying of “Device Net”, “CC-Link”, “Ethernet” etc.
• Attending and Communicating with other Engineers and resolve the issues.
• Attending and Communicating with clients for specifications, requirements and others and resolves the issues.
• Managing and supporting small to large desktop workstation environments
• Site commissioning and installation
• Support software developers in their testing capabilities: Run unit tests and maintain/modify to establish code coverage while working directly with developers

Required Qualifications:
• 5-year (or equivalent) experience with PLC programming (Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, RSLogix 5000, Omron). *Mitsubishi PLC experience is MUST to apply for this position.
• Mitsubishi PLC Programming Experience in the areas of Production Control Systems, Parts Washing Machines, Parts Machining Process (marking, stamping, lathing, etc), Parts Indicating & Monitoring System, Traceability System in the Automotive Manufacturing Industries.
• High-level knowledge of wiring various sensors (Photoelectrical Sensor, Limit Switch, etc.).
• High-level understanding of wiring diagrams and schematic diagrams.
• Knowledge of “Device Net”, “CC-Link”, “Ethernet” etc.
• PLC troubleshooting and debugging experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Design, Automation, Industrial Engineering or college equivalent.

• Knowledge of Manufacturing engineering for automotive industries.
• Knowledge of Factory Automation Systems for automotive industries.
• Ability to complete all security clearance requirements that may be required for the performance of the work.
