Hogust chrome! The salmon bite simmered off punctuated by a few certified hogs but the ghosts are in town and here to stay.

September and October will be all about seabass and hopefully tuna for those looking to chase game out of Morro Bay. The cod and halibut program remain steady too.

We still have a hand-full of August dates open on both boats. September availability will be filling up soon as well, and yes, we will be fishing salmon until the fat lady (CDFW) sings.

June hogs! They’re only getting larger too. As of today it looks like the quota isn’t even halfway filled for our zone meaning there’s plenty more to be had in July.

Feels good to be stacking chrome again. So far the season has been very day-to-day with a few standout hits on fish up to 20lbs. We are enjoying every bit of it and are stoked to see the groundfish get a much needed break.

A very day-to-day bite to round out our Winter Halibut stretch but still managed some nice fish. Cod season is around the corner and we have some availability for next week for those who want to get on some fun bottom fishing.

Less than two weeks away to the cod opener on April 1st! All boats are running private charter rockfish trips this season with seat prices on 1/2 day trips coming out to just $200 per person.

For open party cod trips as of April 1st we will only be running 9Hr Cod / Halibut combos starting at $300 per seat and 12Hr combos starting at $400 per seat (San Sim - Big Sur).

We still have cod availability for those first couple weeks (including the opener on Thirty-One) before salmon gets going, reserve your trip with the link in our profile 👍
