There’s plenty to see on the Embarcadero, with local spots for a bite to eat, something sweet, a little shopping, or something to do.

Here are a few spots to add to your list for your next Morro Bay visit:

The Sweet Reef - Grab fresh boba tea, taiyaki waffles, and cold brew, with flavors like Taro, Thai Tea, Earl Grey, and Banana Milk. Don’t forget to pick your favorite taiyaki filling!

Carousel Taffy - A sweet little piece of Morro Bay, Carousel Taffy brings plenty of local charm to our beach town with a colorful selection of traditional and unique taffy flavors.

The Dutchie - Dinner with a view is always a good idea. This longtime favorite serves fresh salads, pasta, steaks, seafood, and daily specials featuring seasonal ingredients from local producers.

A new season brings a new reason to visit Morro Bay. Fall brings clearer skies, beautiful coastal views, and a more relaxed pace for enjoying everything the destination has to offer. Spend the day whale watching, kayaking, exploring the bay, enjoying fresh seafood, or spotting local wildlife.

Located along the Embarcadero in the heart of Morro Bay, Dorn’s Breakers Café has been a family-owned favorite since 1948, when Harry Amsel first fell in love with the town, its people, and a tiny restaurant overlooking the bay and Morro Rock.

Over the decades, Dorn’s has become part of countless family memories, from celebrating special occasions with loved ones to making a meal here part of a Morro Bay vacation tradition. Today, the Dorn family continues that legacy.
