Welcome to the property of the original Singing Eagle Lodge on Big Squam Lake in Moultonborough, New Hampshire. We are located in the Lakes Region at the southern gateway and foothills of the White Mountains. Glorious Squam Lake is

where forever memories are created. Listen to the common loon’s crying calls as you breathe in the fresh mountain air. Enjoy the small-secluded coves where birds are singing and woodland creatures are scurrying about. Squam possesses an exceptional venue for the artist, painter, photographer, writer, bird watcher, mushroom-seeker, fisherman, sailor & nature lover. There are a multitude of trails to rocky mountaintops along with old & current logging trails. Bean cove is one of the more tranquil coves on the lake. The scene from the beach is straight out Moultonborough Bay with a view of East Rattlesnake Mountain along with silhouettes of Squam Range and beyond. This 9.70-acre property with 452' of water frontage has been in our family for 60 years. It was once a summer camp called "Singing Eagle Lodge" until it closed in 1966 and our family acquired from Doc Ann. Young women learned horsemanship, canoeing, fishing, archery, and basic woodworking skills. Foxlet is available from mid-June to mid-October and is a one bedroom with a king size bed for double occupancy.

Charging of electric vehicles is not permitted on premise. Cellular service can be poor depending on your provider. Turn on the Wi-Fi calling on your cell phone and you’re all set through the high speed Internet. BRING: Binoculars, flashlight, headlamp, bathing suit, beach towels, water shoes, blow-up rafts if you like to float, bug spray, fishing pole & tackle. Don't forget your cabin shoes, as Foxlet is a shoeless cabin. Bike week at Weirs Beach in
Laconia is only 22 minutes and 12 miles away. Stay-in surrounded by nature and enjoy cooking in Foxlet's charming kitchen. The bathroom has been brought to life by local muralist Cat Magnant. She recently brightened up the place by painting the floor and lower walls into a nature scene that dives you deeper into the woods! The walkout deck provides plenty of space with a large Amish made picnic table and woodland views that are sure to bring you peacefulness. The deck is designed to fit a 10' x 10' tent to fit over the table. Grab your beach towel and head toward the lake and relax on the Adirondack chairs at the waters edge. The double kayak and canoe can be launched at the beach. There are several motorboat rentals available around the lake. Gas-up and explore the infamous Kancamagus Highway that winds through the White Mountain National Forest and through the historic Albany Covered Bridge. It's always fantastic, especially in the fall. Upon your arrival there will be a welcome book containing information that directs you in finding your way around the property. Moultonborough, Center Harbor, Meredith, Sandwich, Ashland & Wolfeboro provide plenty of shops, country stores, restaurants and entertainment. Thank you for taking the time to read about our slice of paradise!

If you want to tell the difference between a stoat and a weasel it’s actually weasily done because they’re stoatally different. Haha! Makes absolutely no sense, but it’s so darn funny.
