Our sunroom used to be just a linen storage space, but we discovered that the siding was made of charming old-fashioned crank-out windows. We've transformed it into a lovely sunroom, complete with a vintage pantry door from the 1800s that adds a special touch.

How to Get into Historic Mount Dora to Eat, Shop, Stay & Play!

Our Businesses in Historic Downtown and Uptown Mount Dora are open and waiting for you! We've all heard the news by now and YES Mount Dora had up to 17 inches of rain on Sunday/Monday. However, only a few roads that lead into our Historic Downtown area have been affected.

No matter where you are coming from, we assure you we are accessible. Please avoid the areas with blue circles and come and enjoy our town, support our businesses and have FUN! See you soon!

Hello! We’re the Thomas Family and the new owners of the Farnsworth house in Mount Dora. We fell in love with the charm and potential of this beautiful historic home.
