HONEST REVIEW: Atelier Playa Mujeres 🌴🇲🇽🌴

We just spent four nights here and it has officially become one of my new favorite adults-only all-inclusive resorts! If you love a beautiful design, great food, and a relaxed luxury atmosphere, this one absolutely delivers! Here’s the quick breakdown.

ARRIVAL— 9/10
Champagne, cool towels, and a very smooth check-in after a long travel day. The staff escorted us to our room while explaining ALL the resort and amenities, which made the arrival feel easy and very welcoming.

SPA— 8/10
We visited the luxurious NUUP Spa for an 80-minute massage plus hydrotherapy. The spa is stunning and truly relaxing. If you enjoy spa time on vacation, this is definitely worth doing!

FOOD— 9/10
This resort has a great reputation for good food and it TOTALLY lived up to it! Everything we had was fresh, beautifully presented, and genuinely delicious. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had at an all-inclusive.

GROUNDS— 8/10
The property is beautifully designed with modern architecture and artistic details throughout. Staff are constantly maintaining the resort to keep everything looking picture perfect. It is a large resort though, so expect to get your steps in!

Beach — 8/10
Soft sand, beautiful clear blue water, and PERFECT for long walks. The staff does a great job clearing seaweed each morning and there are plenty of loungers available. They even have cabanas for rent!

Service — 9/10
The service here really stands out. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Everyone was SO friendly!

Pools — 10/10
Multiple beautiful pools with swim-up bars, lots of loungers, and a great overall atmosphere whether you want something lively or more relaxed.

Entertainment — 8/10
Daily activities like cocktail classes, art workshops, fitness classes, and live music in the evenings. The vibe leans more toward relaxed luxury than a high-energy party scene!

OVERALL: A beautiful adults-only all-inclusive with excellent food, thoughtful design, and great service!

I would 100% return (tomorrow if I could) and confidently recommend it to clients looking for a relaxing luxury getaway in Cancun! 🌴

🇲🇽 Let’s talk about the Mexico headlines for a second — because your nervous texts are working overtime. 😅

With the recent news around Puerto Vallarta, I’ve had a quite a few “Should I cancel everything?!” messages roll in. Deep breath, my travel friends. I’m literally heading to Mexico in 10 days — suitcase already mentally packed and I’m SO excited! ✈️🌴✈️

Mexico is a BIG country. We need to remember what happens in one region doesn’t automatically impact another. Think of it as what happens in Miami or Denver doesn’t mean that it’s going impact me here in TN.

Puerto Vallarta 🌊 (Pacific Coast)
Cancun / Riviera Maya 🌴 (Caribbean Coast)

Over 1,200 miles apart — totally different coasts, totally different regions.

Right now:

✈️ Flights into Cancun are operating
🏨 Resorts are open
👮 Added military and security
