LEGENDS AND LORE!
Few mountains on Earth carry as much mystery as Mount Shasta that has captivated locals and seekers alike for thousands of years ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐Ÿ”๏ธ

๐Ÿ›ธ UFOs โ€” The skies above Mount Shasta have long been a hotspot for UFO sightings, with many believers claiming the distinctive lenticular clouds that form over the summit are actually Lemurian motherships in disguise.

๐Ÿงฌ Lemurians โ€” Survivors of the ancient lost continent of Lemuria are said to live beneath Mount Shasta, occasionally emerging in town wearing white robes and paying for goods with gold nuggets.

โœจ Pleiadians โ€” Mount Shasta is believed by many in the New Age community to be an active landing and contact point for Pleiadian star beings, who are drawn to the mountain's powerful cosmic energy.

๐ŸŒ€ Energy Vortexes โ€” Mount Shasta is considered one of the most powerful energy vortex sites on Earth, believed to sit at the crown chakra of the planet and act as a conduit between physical and spiritual dimensions.

๐Ÿ™๏ธ Telos โ€” Deep beneath Mount Shasta exists a legendary subterranean city called Telos, home to millions of Lemurians living in a crystalline, technologically advanced civilization across multiple underground levels.

โ›๏ธ J.C. Brown โ€” In 1904, British prospector J.C. Brown claimed to have discovered atunnel beneath Mount Shasta containing gold, hieroglyphics, and the skeletal remains of 10-foot-tall giants. He disappeared in 1934 before he could lead an expedition back to the site.
๐Ÿ‘‘ St. Germain โ€” In the 1930s, businessman Guy Ballard claimed to encounter the Ascended Master St. Germain on the mountain's slopes, an experience that led him to found the I AM Activity spiritual movement with over a million followers.

๐Ÿฆถ Bigfoot โ€” Bigfoot sightings around Mount Shasta are well-documented in the region, with many locals and visitors reporting encounters in the dense forests surrounding the mountain's base.

๐Ÿค The Woman in White โ€” A mysterious luminous woman dressed in flowing white robes has been reported for decades wandering the upper slopes of Mount Shasta, appearing briefly to hikers and climbers before vanishing without a trace into the mountain mist.

Step back in time with usโ€ฆ

The Sisson Museum has officially reopened featuring a brand-new exhibit honoring the founders of our town, Justin Hinckley Sisson and his wife, Lydia.

Arriving in the 1850s, Justin Sisson played a pivotal role in shaping what was once known as Sisson, now Mount Shasta, California. He operated a well-known stagecoach inn and tavern, guided climbers up Mount Shasta, and even donated land that helped bring the railroad to town in 1886, forever changing its future.

This exhibit is more than history, itโ€™s the story of how a vision built a community.

Come see where it all began.
