Where in the World Wednesday

Since so many of you were curious about Disneyland’s First Aid Center, here’s what Disneyland’s first aid team administered to bring down my daughter’s bug bite 🦟

🤩 One of the most important - and unsung - services offered in the Disney Parks: First Aid🚨

R had a simple “itchy spot” this morning - likely a little bug bite from our closing the parks last night. I always travel with a Benadryl itch relief stick for just these times. Applied and on we went. 🏃🏻‍♀️

Within 2 hrs that little itch became a big swelling that was hurting. 😢

I knew exactly where to go. 🏥

👩🏻‍⚕️ The Health Services cast member took a look, asked great questions, and listened to our story before offering us an alternative topical medication.

While we were getting helped, someone else came in for motion sickness; another for a skinned up knee. Each person was patiently assisted and made to feel important during their visit. ❤️‍🩹

Back to my kiddo - Instant relief and right back to Smiling! 😎

No one plans to get sick or injured, and no one wants to see First Aid - but for this Momma, I was so grateful they were there! 🥰

Why I ❤️LOVE❤️ a Rainy Day at Disneyland!

📉 Low Crowd Levels: easier to shop, wander, and take pictures

⏱️ Shorter Wait Times: the longest we waited today was 35 min (most were 15 or less)

😌 Relaxed Day: because of this we get a midday hotel break, aren’t stressed about getting things done, and can focus on our family.

Quick Park Bag Prep:
- Ponchos: I like the heavier ones - still super easy and non-bulky to pack, but withstand being taken on and off a bunch of times.
- Gallon zip bags: keeps the wet and dry to themselves.
- Extra Socks: dry feet are happy feet

Remember: A Rainy Day at Disney is better than No Day at Disney! 🤩
