As we are digging through archives as the inside is being renovated, we thought we would share some photos. Music Tradition comes alive inside the historic Kentucky Music Hall of Fame & Museum. It is housed in what was once John Lair's horse facility. Our Visitor Center is located inside the Hall of Fame. In 2002, the barn was expanded and converted into the Hall of Fame, with lobby, gift shop, and exhibit space. Come see where legends are on display and history comes alive!

In less than 2 weeks, we will be welcoming our Renfro Valley Dual Sport riders from all over the United States. This is one of the biggest events in the community that will happen May 2-4th. For more information, be sure to follow them on Facebook, as well as check out their links at

Update to our Visitor Center inside the KY Music Hall of Fame.

We are excited to see some major changes to help preserve our 23+ year old facility and to expand our exhibit space. We are having major renovations completed. In order to do so, we will have to close to the public for several days at a time.

Week of April 20th - April 26th:
* CLOSED on Sunday, April 20th through Friday, April 25th.

* OPEN Saturday, April 26th 10AM to 1PM for just gift shop and lobby, then hosting a private event.

* OPEN Sunday, April 27th 10AM to 6PM for just gift shop and lobby. We will be hosting the Studio London vocal students for their recital at 3PM.

Funding for renovations is from a grant received to replace roofing, flooring, and improve exhibit space with new cases and more interactive items. We will post updates as we go along so that you can make sure that we are fully opened. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

This Saturday at 1:00 PM, catch Hunter Flynn, Donnie Bowling, and Wakita Young at the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame & Museum Singer-Songwriter In the Round Series in our lobby. This series is hosted by Donovan Howard on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Performers are hand selected through a juried process to perform at the Hall of Fame in which many consider to be an honor. Be sure to view the event schedule for future performances.

Saturday April 19th our friends at Lone Star Farm & Home will be hosting The Farmer’s Daughter Scholarship Fundraiser. There will be live music, raffle drawings, and antique tractor show. Everything starts at 11AM.
