June 6: 4th Annual KY Blues Music Festival featuring Tee Dee Young, Nat Myers, and Donovan Howard. FREE Admission. Music kicks off at 6:00 PM. Red State BBQ, Jenabelle Treats, and Set the Bar will be serving delicious food and drinks.

June 20: Central Kentucky VW Club presents Volks Valley Rally. Register on site. Awards to be handed out. Free for spectators. 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM

June 27: Singer Songwriter In the Round Series with Josh Mitcham, Philip Bowen, and Charity Gilbert. Free to attend. 12PM to 2PM

We have your July 4th plans in Rockcastle County for America 250.

City of Brodhead, KY Stroller, Wagon, and Bike Parade. Lineup at 8:30 and parade starts at Brodhead Elementary

Rockcastle Arts Association Create a bag to gather candy - at Rock Arts on Main Street from 9AM to 11AM.

City of Mount Vernon, KY Parade Lineup at 10AM and Parade at 11AM. Theme is “What America Means to Me” and free to enter. To enter, contact Kathy Bobo at 606-308-1208.

Then that evening head over to the Rockcastle County Business Industrial Park off US150 on Progress Drive for Food Trucks, Inflatables, and Fireworks. Event kicks off at 6PM with fireworks at dusk.

Join us for the Summer Kick Off on Thursday, May 28th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Main Street in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky! Enjoy a fun-filled evening featuring a non-judged car show, door prizes, dash plaques for the first 50 cars, co****le tournament, food trucks and more! DJ Charlie Napier will be on hand providing the music.

No registration is required for vehicles to show off their rides. There will be on-site registration for the co****le tournament.
