On the last day of our road trip we left Twin Falls and drove to Boise for breakfast 🍳 Before our long drive to Southern Washington, we strolled the streets of downtown and walked through the Freak Alley Gallery 🎨 This unique outdoor gallery is free and displays collections of murals by local artists. From Boise we drove through countryside Oregon back to Washington where we stopped for the night at The Lodge at Columbia Point. We road bikes along the river, then enjoyed some delish cocktails and read before finishing the day with in-room dining. It was interesting to experience the significant difference of Washington’s response to Covid versus Idaho’s. In Idaho the cities we explored barely saw any cases and were fully reopened. Whereas, our last hotel in Washington only offered in room dining, had many public places closed, and was taking Covid much more seriously. We really enjoyed exploring Idaho, it was the perfect getaway amongst current circumstances. We will definitely be back for Hell’s Canyon!
