We specifically told him the One Ring wasn't up there, but he's chosen to ignore that information.

The good news is it's safely hidden inside the Hobbit House.

The bad news is he'll probably be on the roof for a while.

If you're staying with us and hear suspicious muttering about a ring, don't worry.

He's mostly harmless.
