Took advantage of a good deal. Bought a 2017 IMac with 1 t hd storage and 16 gb of ram! Arrived today

Came with macos 10.15 Catalina needed to upgrade it to macOS 10.15.7 needed to upgrade it to macOS 12 Monterey to be compatible with the IMac it’s replacing! Done

Connected both IMac together through WI-FI to do data migration from old system to new system! Done

Verified accounts and apps, then upgraded new computer to latest macOS version 13 which is Ventura Done

All in all took about 5 hours from start to end and machine has now been optimized and pretty darn quick!

Spent the day taking a 2017 IMac apart, unbuckle pretty much the entire computer to get to the SSDPCi and the ram upgrades I have planned.

Then reassembled closed up, tested formatted SSD to get to reinstalling the latest greatest version of macOS Ventura!
