Sunday is here. She came to the garden before sunrise — her heart heavy, her eyes still swollen from grief. She had watched Him die. She had seen the stone rolled into place. And yet something pulled her back to the tomb. The tomb was empty.

And then, through her tears, a voice she didn't recognize asked her: "He asked her, “Woman, why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?”

She thought He was the gardener. Then He said one word. Her name. "Mary." She turned. And in that single word, the resurrection became personal. Not a distant miracle. Not an ancient headline. A name. Her name. Spoken by the One who had conquered death.

She cried out — "Rabboni!" — and ran to tell the world. — John 20:15–18

Two thousand years later, travelers stand at the empty Tomb in Jerusalem, and the stone is still rolled away. He is risen.

Darkness fell at noon. Over all the land, the sun refused to shine. On a hill called Golgotha — just outside Jerusalem's ancient walls — the weight of sin pressed down on Jesus as he hung from wooden beams and iron nails. The prophet Isaiah saw it centuries before: "He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces. He was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed." — Isaiah 53:3-5 (NIV)

For three hours, darkness held the land. The earth trembled. The temple veil tore from top to bottom. And then, a voice — steady, resolute, full of love even in agony: "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." — Luke 23:46 (NIV)

It was finished.

Today, those who walk the stones of the Via Dolorosa, who stand in the shadow of Calvary, feel the weight of this sacred ground. Every step echoes with sacrifice, mercy, and an unfathomable love. On this Good Friday, we pause. We remember. But don't forget… Sunday is coming.

The night had come. He knew what lay ahead — the betrayal, the garden, the cross. And yet, in those final hours with the ones he loved, Jesus did not reach for power. He reached for a towel. "He got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him." — John 13:4-5 (NIV)

The King of Kings knelt on the floor of the Upper Room. The hands that shaped the stars cradled calloused, dust-worn feet. He washed them all — even the feet of the one who would betray him before morning.

This is the mystery of Maundy Thursday — that true greatness is found not on a throne, but on bended knee. That love, in its fullest expression, serves. In Jerusalem, the Upper Room still represents a sacred space where this act of unfathomable humility forever changed what it means to lead, to love, to follow.

🌿 Two thousand years ago, Jesus Christ descended the Mount of Olives and entered Jerusalem — not on a war horse, but on a donkey. The streets erupted. Palm branches were torn from the trees and laid across the dusty road. Cloaks were spread before Him. Voices filled the Kidron Valley with a cry that echoed through the ages: "Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the king of Israel!” — John 12:13 (NIV)

It was exactly as the prophet had foretold centuries before: Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion! Shout, Daughter Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you, righteous and victorious, lowly and riding on a donkey, on a c**t, the foal of a donkey." — Zechariah 9:9 (NIV)

Today, as we mark Palm Sunday 🌿, may we pause at the start of this most sacred week. Holy Week invites us to walk slowly — through betrayal, suffering, and death — and toward the empty tomb. Let us hold both the beauty and the weight of this moment. Blessed Holy Week to all. 🌿

Before kings. Before scholars. Before the world took notice.

The first announcement of Jesus’ birth was made to shepherds, ordinary people keeping watch under the Bethlehem sky.

At Shepherds’ Field, the Christmas story feels personal and profound. This is where heaven broke into the quiet, where good news was shared first with the humble.

When you stand here, you’re reminded that God’s greatest news wasn’t reserved for the powerful; it was entrusted to those who were simply present.

Bethlehem is where Jesus was born. Nazareth is where the Christmas story begins. ✨
As we approach Christmas, we’re spotlighting a place that often surprises travelers with its central role in the Gospel story: Nazareth.

In the first century, Nazareth wasn’t impressive – small, overlooked, off the main roads. And that’s the point. It’s here that the angel Gabriel appears to Mary. It’s here that she says her courageous yes. The Incarnation begins not in a palace, but in a humble village. Nazareth reminds us that God works through the ordinary, the quiet, and the unexpected. It’s where humility meets obedience – and where the Christmas story truly takes root.
This season, don’t just visit where Jesus was born. Visit where God’s plan began. 💙
