Airborne Adventures specializes in providing spectacular hot air balloon rides above the many farms and small communities in the Central New York area! We fly morning or evening, seven days a week, weather permitting, from May 1 through October 31. Additional services include Balloon Walks and Tethered Balloon Rides for private parties and community/corporate events.

Went looking for the big view last evening. Found it. Saw the sun's reflection off Oneida Lake and Lake Ontario. Eventually settled onto the front lawn of the Kevin and Karen Kennedy Center for Theatre and the Studio Arts at Hamilton College. Students were excited to see a hot air balloon up close, and then joined us in deflating and packing the envelope. Campus security was kind and professional. Incidentally, one of my passengers is an iron worker; he was excited to share that he had worked on the construction of the building we landed at. Always such a small world. 🙂

Aerial scenes of some local farms from the last few days. Some may not know that I spent my first 28 years living and working on my family's dairy farm in Munnsville, NY. It was not an easy life by any means, but it was a beautiful one...and it taught me to "stay out of the beans" with the balloon! 😉🐄

Some would say this photo is AI enhanced, and they would be correct, lol. Wouldn't a lunar launch be cool though?! We did enjoy a 90 minute flight above planet Earth this morning! Flew north down the Stockbridge Valley, then ascended to meet the warm sunrise before heading southeast over the frosty landscape. 🎈
