The Heist: Kids Mode (The Escape Game)— Nashville, TN

Parents celebrate! The Escape Game has an all new game made specifically for kids ages 5-10! 🥳🎉👧🧒

This isn’t just a reduced version of an adult game, it’s an entirely new experience made to be endlessly adaptable. Parents need not help! A personal Game Guide will join in the game and tailor the experience in real-time. 🥹 Parents can just sit back and watch the magic happen.

We went with our two best pals— E (age 9) and S (age 5). It was the SWEETEST thing watching the kids cheer each other on and discuss ideas on how to crack the codes 🧠🧐

The game was the perfect duration to keep their interest, and with the built in Game Guide, nothing was too hard for them. Connor is already begging to go back. This is an experience your kids will talk about for months!

So I’ve lived here since 2010…and I’ve actively avoided the Ren Fair since then 😅😬

I was just too overwhelmed! It felt like a whole language I didn’t understand.

I don’t want you to feel that way, so after our visit this past weekend, I sat down and made a survival guide for you… For FREE 🥰

And I couldn’t leave the littles out. I made a character scavenger hunt for them so they could be involved in scouting out all the best costumes while at

Our favorite part of the Renaissance Festival wasn’t what you’d expect…it was Trinket Trading! 🧝‍♀️🏰👑 a quiet tradition that’s been going on since the start of ren faire.

Event attendees (and staff!) will carry pouches of trinkets to trade with one other. Some are even handmade items! Honestly this activity kept my kid’s excited and happy despite the epic temperatures 🥵☀️🌡️ I don’t think we would have made it without this distraction.

For our trinkets, we brought polished calming stones and some funny crow figurines.

Bongo Java is far from secret at this point. It’s a beloved beverage spot with locations across the city. HOWEVER, the East Nash location has an incredible wall of games for you to enjoy.

From well-known childhood favorites to recent release strategy games, they must have over 100 games for you to sift through. Plus, they host weekly events including Catan nights and educational classes.

Open until 10pm seven days a week with both indoor AND outdoor seating (in a gated area!) there’s literally never a bad time to go to Bongo ;)

Cafe offering coffees, teas, and speciality drinks along with on-tap b**rs. Menu features all-day breakfast, pastries, lunch, dinner, and snack items

We love this school so much. It has been exactly what my quirky, vibrant boy needs to keep his heart full and his love of learning going strong. At , we enjoy:
