PICK YOUR POISON: Vacation Edition!

You have to choose ONE:

A. A 6 AM flight, but you get an entire extra day of vacation.

B. A red-eye flight, but you don't lose a day traveling.

C. A road trip with 12 hours in the car, but you can pack whatever you want.

D. A connecting flight with a three-hour layover, but you save $300.

Which one are you choosing?

And don't tell me "none." The travel gods have spoken. 😂

Forget haunted houses. Want to know what REALLY scares me? 😂

"We have a 35-minute layover."

"We'll just fly in the morning of our cruise."

"I didn't think we needed passports."

"The hotel looked really nice in the pictures."

"I found a deal on a website I've never heard of."

"I got a discount at Costco."

And my personal favorite...

"We don't need to plan anything. We'll figure it out when we get there."

NOPE. NOPE. NOPE. Scariest words in travel. 😲

You've won a FREE Halloween vacation, but you have to choose where you're going!

- A night inside Disney's Haunted Mansion.

- A mysterious cruise ship where the passengers disappeared 100 years ago.

- A luxury hotel in a castle rumored to be haunted.

- A cozy cabin in the woods with absolutely no cell service.

- A beautiful private island where you're the only guest.

Which one are you choosing?

I'm not saying I'd survive any of these, but the private island is sounding pretty good. 😂

🎃 The Spreadsheet Traveler: Has every reservation, confirmation number, and restaurant planned.

🎃 The Airport Sprinter: Somehow always running to the gate.

🎃 The Pool Chair Professional: Has claimed the perfect chair by 8 AM.

🎃 The Snack Collector: Plans the entire vacation around food.

🎃 The "We Can Sleep When We're Home" Traveler: Has everyone exhausted by day two.

I think we all know which one I am. 😂

Forget ghosts and creepy clowns. Want to know what's REALLY scary?

*Showing up for your cruise the day it leaves and getting stuck in traffic.
*Booking a hotel because it was cheap and THEN reading the reviews.
*Finding out your "all-inclusive" vacation isn't quite as all-inclusive as you thought. 😂
* You booked the cheapest flight and just realized your layover is 37 minutes.
*You booked a nonrefundable vacation and now your plans have changed.

Some vacation nightmares are a whole lot scarier than others!

The good news? A lot of these travel horror stories can be avoided with a little planning and someone who knows what to look for.
That's where I come in! I love helping my clients figure out all those little details BEFORE they turn into big problems.

The Disney Believe sets sail for the first time on December 18, 2027, and Disney has some pretty exciting things planned for this one!

We're talking a Moana-inspired Grand Hall, a Broadway-style production of Encanto, an immersive Frozen dining experience, Zootopia entertainment, and so much more! Plus, favorites like the AquaMouse, fireworks at sea, character experiences, amazing kids' clubs, and adults-only spaces are all part of the fun.

The Disney Believe will sail from Fort Lauderdale on 4- and 5-night cruises to The Bahamas and Caribbean, including stops at Disney's private island destinations!

Here's something I always remind my clients: You don't have to pay for the entire cruise when you book! A deposit secures your reservation, and you can make payments along the way until your final payment deadline.

I also love booking Disney cruises early because you generally have more choices for staterooms, locations, and dates before those popular sailings start filling up.

Well, this isn't exactly a travel post, but it IS about a pretty big journey!

I PASSED MY PhD DISSERTATION DEFENSE!

For the past two years, I've been helping families plan vacations, cruises, and adventures around the world while also also earning my PhD in Literacy Studies. Apparently, I don't know how to do just one thing at a time!

I've spent a lot of time planning other people's dream trips while working toward one of my own biggest dreams. And this week, I reached a pretty exciting destination! I'll officially graduate in December, but the biggest hurdle is behind me.

So thank you to all my travel clients who have trusted me with their vacations and supported my little travel business while I've been juggling ALL the things.

And don't worry, I'm not going anywhere! I'll still be here planning vacations, finding the best options, and obsessing over all the little details.

Next stop: Graduation!
